As part of their ongoing journey together, Nick and Jessamyn booked a cruise in Acadia National Park.

The first part of the cruise had views of Bear Island Lighthouse, nesting osprey, and basking harbor seals, all framed by Acadia’s dramatic mountains.
But, of course, the highlight of the trip was a 45-minute stop at the 200-year-old

lobster-fishing village on Little Cranberry Island. “Cran” is Nick’s nickname for Jessamyn and thus this little island made the perfect location for his proposal. Obviously, she said, “Yes!”
They lumched on a picnic of lobster rolls and wine, and then went deep into Somes Sound Fjord for a spectacular view of the vertical Eagle Cliffs that rise dramatically from the sea.
